QUICK toggling machine is a dryer of simplified mechanical design, inexpensive and capable of high production at low temperature. It is particular suitable to toggle, dry and stabilize different kinds of leather. It is available in many models, having different length and working width.
The CONVEYOR BAND is made up of a series of perforated trays, on which the leather can be toggled piece after piece, irrespective of the frame size, thus saving useless spaces caused by traditional book-case dryers. The operators should just toggle and de-toggle the skins, all other working phases being automated. The conveyor moves by intervals either manually, by means of two foot-pedals, or automatically, through PLC settings. A pushbutton allows the backward movement of the conveyor band.
LEATHER STRETCHING is completely automatic and adjustable from PLC at any time.
DRYING takes place by means of high-efficiency electrically-driven fans, plus heat exchangers (working with either steam, hot water, diathermic fluid or electric power) and a set of internal pipes, extended throughout the length of the machine. The air hits leather vertically the leather at all times. As an alternative, it is possible to equip the machine with a hot air generator, coupled with gas (or gas-oil) burner. A special thermostatic device allows operators to keep the air temperature inside the chamber between 20 and 80°C. An air discharge is also included, with the possibility to install a humidity sensor, connected with an exhauster.
LEATHER COOLING works in a similar way to drying area and it is possible to operate either at ambient temperature, or with hot air. This device too includes an air discharge, with the possibility to install humidity sensor and exhauster.
ELECTRIC CONTROLS are grouped on the electric control board, equipped with PLC and all needed devices, with secondary controls at low tension. The electric board is complete with skin counter and, on request, can be set up in order to be remote programmed.
On request, it is possible to install a special conveyor band, split into three sections, to process reptile skins.
